1 Art Nénuphar Blue Marble 16 mm

Blue discs on purplish pink glass

The translucent glass, tinted purplish pink, is scattered with indigo blue discs ringed with white, some of which may show a small bubble or a pale dot at their centre. In the 16 mm size, these closely set discs leave little of the background visible and form a pattern that is both graphic and organic.

The memory of a pond covered in water lilies

Its name recalls the round leaves of water lilies floating on the surface of a pond. In a small dish of clear water or near an aquatic plant, it extends this evocation in a water garden setting. The arrangement of the discs may differ slightly from one piece to another.
