1 Geai Marble 25 mm

A blue-green glass run through with white fine lines

This transparent glass is a deep blue-green, close to teal blue, leaning slightly towards green. In the image, it darkens at the centre, scattered with pale dots. A milky white fine line undulates at the bottom, another traces an arc at the top, and a lighter turquoise band runs along the upper left edge. In the 25 mm size, these fine lines follow one another through the depth of the glass.

The name of a woodland bird

Its name recalls the Eurasian jay, whose wing bears a distinctive blue patch. Near a carafe in tinted glass, it mingles its reflections with those of the carafe. Depending on the marble, the shade ranges from dark teal blue to a lighter turquoise.
