1 Art Bubble Pink Marble 16 mm

Rings edged with white on pale pink

This glass is a very pale pink, veiled with milky white. The photo shows an edge that lightens until it becomes colourless, and round patterns layered on top of one another, a white dot at the centre, a raspberry ring then a white edging, with small white discs scattered between them. On the 16 mm surface, these rings almost touch.

A tender note on a dressing table

Its name is the English word for bubble, and its circles certainly look the part. In a small glass dish on a dressing table, near a satin ribbon or a small bottle, it adds a powdery note. It joins the Bubble Blue and Bubble Orange marbles. The number of rings and where they sit vary from one marble to another.
