1 Art Machu Picchu Purple Marble 16 mm

A plum violet with pinkish reflections

The glass leans towards plum, a deep violet. Beneath it, a metallic foil crumpled into tight folds takes on pinkish reflections and catches the light on every ridge. Two opaque black poles frame the whole. On a bedside table or in a ring dish, its muted shade goes well with dark woods.

Under a lamp, folds that come alive

The crumpled foil responds to the slightest change in lighting. In the evening, under warm light, the pinkish ridges stand out more than the violet of the glass. Simply move the marble slightly to see other folds shine. A small piece that deserves a close look.
